NOBUNAGA'S AMBITION: Sphere of Influence

You can enjoy battle from 2 different viewpoints.
The Bird's-eye view allows you to see the entire field.
This is good for dictating routes of march, diversions, pincer attacks and other strategies that require the bigger picture.
The close-up view shows you the terrain and the current weather so you can control your units properly.
You take personal control over the force, as the Grand Commander.
Your orders and tactics could allow you the thrill and satisfaction of defeating the greater numbers of your enemy.

In the close-up view of battles, where units clash, each individual soldier has been drawn to recreate dynamic battle scenes.
Units are able to move across the battlefields freely and can catch the enemy in a pincer attack, stop their forces with bow and gun attacks (distance) or fight it out with swords (melee).
Whatever they do, this dynamic and highly strategic battle is theirs to enjoy.
Also, we have provided a wide variety of battle types.
There are Mass Battles where larger numbers of units clash, sieges around castles, surprise night attacks and much, much more.
